Nem akarok aranyat nyelni.
 
 
 
Gyűrd le inkább te,
 
a jótét adagot
 
Lótuszom!

When once more I became submerged

in the red dust of existence

I simply wanted to live.

I, the one devoid of respect,

born earlier,

recognise my own futility.

Let the skies of the Emerald Emperor

wait for me later.

I don’t want to swallow gold.

I'd rather that you,

my Lotus-blossom,

force down that bit of charity!
