míg alusznak a csillagászok.
Teleírhatja rózsákkal a kertet,
míg alszik a május.
Teleírhatja napfénnyel a strandot,
míg alszik a napfény.
Ó, százegyszer is kifoghat
a késedelmeskedőn!
Teleírhatja reménységgel
a szállongó időt,
míg alusznak az emberek.
